‘Embedding the MARAM and Information Sharing Schemes into practice’
The Bayside Peninsula Integrated Family Violence Partnership have provided the MARAM Collaborative Practice Training Module to over 500 practitioners across Bayside Peninsula since 2019.
Family Violence, Family Services, Mental Health, AOD Services, Housing, and Community Health practitioners are telling us they need more support to embed the practice into their daily work.
You will explore case studies, common experiences and learnings with other professionals with the intent of enhancing skills, knowledge and connections about how to use the MARAM and Information Sharing Schemes. It will be a great opportunity for learning and knowledge sharing.
The sessions will be facilitated by our MARAM/IS Training Coordinator – Melissa Brown
Melissa has facilitated MARAM and Information Sharing Scheme training since September 2018, and has been a locum family violence support worker in the Magistrates Court of Victoria since 2016. She is a family violence counsellor for women and children victim-survivors in her private practice, and is the current Victorian President of the AASW and Co-convenor of the AASW Family Violence Social Work Practice Group.
