This one day training is relevant to all professionals who are to respond to family violence under the Victorian Information Sharing and Family Violence Reforms.
It focuses on both collaborative practice and the foundational aspects of the MARAM that enables collaboration. This training will enable professionals to contribute to risk assessment and management, by collaborating using the Information Sharing Schemes, referrals and secondary consultations, and developing a collaborative risk management plan.
This one day training will be separated into three time sessions:
*To complete this training, participants MUST ATTEND all three sessions, however sessions can be attended on different days. This is not recommended due to the interactive activities within each session.
Session 1: Collaborative Practice, Information Sharing Reforms and Your Place in the System
• 9.15 am – 11.00 am
Session 2: Intersectionality and Keeping Perpetrators in View
• 11.30 am – 1.00 pm
Session 3: Evidence-based Risk Factors, Effective Engagement and Collabrorative Risk Management Planning
• 1.45 pm – 3.30 pm
