inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence are holding a Multicultural Community of Practice Meeting via Zoom on Thursday 7th May, 10:30-11:30am. The meeting will provide an update on how inTouch is providing services to women from migrant and refugee communities who are experiencing family violence during the COVID-19 pandemic, some reflections on trends inTouch are seeing from clients, as well as share their new COVID-19 information hub on the website. There will be time for an open discussion to learn from participants’ successes and challenges too.
It is open to anyone from the family violence sector, ethno-specific or faith-based community organisations, working on the intervention and prevention of violence against women from migrant or refugee backgrounds. Attendance is limited to two staff per organisation.
