This is a three-day pilot workshop for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander workers & those working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women and
their families experiencing Family Violence.

These include family violence specific roles, family support workers, counsellors, women’s program workers, refuge and housing workers, child protection, youth work, police and related fields.

Participation in the workshop is encouraged for workers who engage or want to engage with our women and their children affected by family violence and trauma.

This workshop is one of four new Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Family Violence workshops developed by SNAICC.

SNAICC – National Voice for Our Children is the national non-governmental peak body representing the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children
