MARAM and FVISS training update – July 2019

This information has been developed to clarify what the enrolement process for MARAM and  Phase 1  FV Information Sharing to be delivered by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

Once trained, it is expected these staff will support the roll out of the reforms in your organisation.

Key actions

  • Training is available for up to 5 lead staff from each service location and type.

(if you have multiple service types or locations, 5 from each may attend)

  • Please identify staff who will play a lead role in supporting the roll out of information sharing reforms within your organisation, for example practice leads, learning and development staff, and/or team leaders or managers.
  • Encourage training registration and attendance for nominated staff, preferably at locations close to service operation to support the development of local relationships. Training will be available in a range of locations.


Key points

Child and Family Violence Information Sharing training

  • The one-day training (9am to 4.30pm) will use case studies and activities to help staff understand how the information sharing reforms should be applied in day to day work, to assist them in supporting colleagues and your organisation to embed the reforms into practice.
  • Staff who completed the 2-day information sharing training package in 2018 or the full set of online modules do not need to attend these sessions.
